Today the call was to make braided
jewellery using Kumihimo techniques. This is a special type of cord or thread
weaving to make ropes for jewellery use. It’s also not a technique I have tried
nor have the supplies for.
Instead, I made a braided bracelet
with C-Lon cord, a 3-ply twisted multi-filament nylon thread, Aventurine and
Lilac Stone beads, and finished it off with Antiqued Brass end caps and Star
toggle clasp.

We’re halfway through and I’m still
hanging in for the challenges. Woo!
