We’re All Ears April Challenge

The April inspiration for the We’re All Ears blog hop challenge are images of fiddlehead ferns. Spring, renewal, rebirth, all happy thoughts, just like the fiddleheads. The images that were chosen came from Getty Images and I chose this one as my personal inspiration.

In my stash, I happened to have some charming swirl patterned porcelain charms from Suburban Girl. The swirl reminded me of the unfurling fronds of the ferns.

Optic Illusion Earrings

I chose to keep the look of the earrings simple and the attention on the charms. The charms were hung from sterling silver shepherd hook earwires. You can find them in my shop.

Please click here to see what everyone else has made too.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

  2. I knew who made the ceramics as soon as I saw them. I love Suburban Girl. I like to keep my earrings on the small side in hopes that my customers will buy them. I don't sell a lot of long earrings. Your earrings are perfect like they are.

    1. Thanks so much Kathy. I usually tend to find myself making longer earrings and was very happy with the charm that goes with smaller ones

  3. Love the charm earrings and the color too...Sterling earwires are great!.... especially if you have allergies but I can't help wondering what they might look like on Black wires or gunmetal...what do you think?

    1. I'll bet they would like great. I was tempted to darken the sterling with LOS but got distracted by the shiny look.
